Principle Uses: Extensively in the food flavoring trades.  Used in pharmaceutical preparations in the past and may still be used as an anti nausea additive in over-the-counter medicines.

Properties:  Antimicrobial, antispasmodic. Excellent for easing breathing in colds & flue and as an expectorant in pulmonary congestion. A mental stimulant or relaxant depending on the individuals needs, which can ease headaches, clear the head and aid concentration.  In massage it has been used to ease painful menstruation and to ease neuromuscular spasms.  Its vapours inhaled may ease nausea caused by various conditions.
